The
Associate of Arts Degree
An Associate of Arts Degree (A.A.) is awarded
when the student has completed the core of general studies and the necessary
number of elective studies required for the degree.
The student's choice of elective courses should
be consistent with college transfer plans and career objectives and chosen
with the assistance of an advisor.
WSCC's academic advising services help students
make the best possible choices for their individual needs. With West Shore's
help, the A.A. Degree can be personally tailored to fit the requirements
of the four-year college or university selected.
Thus, WSCC helps students gain a promising start
on their college education without paying premium tuition costs or moving
away from their homes or jobs.
