One-Year Certificate
The Banking and Finance certificate program
provides specialized training for banking and finance careers that were
not addressed by the general business and management program. The student
will be trained in current banking policies, procedures, and law; accounting
concepts; marketing; and management skills.

This program was developed by colleges participating in the Michigan
Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative (MCCVLC). Some of the
courses are available only through on-line instruction through the MCCVLC.
Students are responsible for all prerequisites
and/or co-requisites. See course descriptions.
In order to receive a degree/certificate in this
program, students must take an institutionally-developed compentency test.
This program is intended to prepare students for employment,
and therefore has not been designed to transfer to senior institutions.
Some of the courses, however, may be transferable. For clarification,
see a WSCC advisor.
